Inspired by a cushion engagement ring published in a magazine, a customer asked us to design a similar ring for a round diamond and to make the ring as thin as possible.
Our designers came up with the following rendering using 0.01 carat diamonds to make the shank (side of the ring) as thin as possible. The support rods under the ring are curved, not straight.
The customer approved the design and we crafted this elegantly dainty diamond engagement ring:
