Top Rate Diamonds did an excellent job . My Fiancee worked closely with them to design a customized ring (heart sides pictured above) that turned out absolutely beautiful! I then worked with them to design a customized wedding band to compliment the intricate details of the engagement ring. I had a ton of questions which thy quickly and thoroughly answered. The end product was phenomenal!!
You will be amazed! I couldn't be happier with the service and quality I received from TRD. The owner, Tal, is very approachable and knowledgable. You get to do business in a low-key, relaxed, unassuming environment, with an expert, rather than in a busy mall or 17th floor of a skyscraper. He cuts through all the fluff and immediately educates you on diamonds. Plus he has a pretty good size inventory, so you get to see real diamonds rather than looking at pictures on the web or feeling pressure because the broker tells you he has to ship them in from out of town, which costs him a fortune. I never felt hustled or intimidated. You get the feeling that Tal knows his prices and customer service are the best in town. Plus his product doesn't carry the weight of heavy overhead costs. He never pressured me, but he did return calls and emails almost immediately. Oh, and by the way, my fiance's friends and family have been gawking at the diamond for weeks. I feel like a hero. My advice, scour the web (e.g. blue nile), talk to your uncle's diamond guy, go to a local retailer, then go see Tal at Top Rate Diamonds. You will be amazed.
I do a lot of research before I spend money on something, and I analyze the people that are selling to me. When making a huge decision such as an engagement ring for my girlfriend, I step it up a couple of notches! Wonderful Experience. I was referred to Tal and Top Rate Diamonds by a friend in order to purchase an engagement ring, and I can't express how happy I have been with the service I received from Tal, and with the ring that I purchased. Tal made it clear that he would be able to give me whatever I wanted in an engagement ring, and that is exactly what he did. I was very particular about my requests (even having read a book to be as knowledgeable as possible), and he was very patient and understanding of all my questions and requests. Tal was always in touch and clear on the process and where things stood, he was able to provide me detailed information on not only the diamonds that would be used in the ring, but the process of making the ring, timing, and delivery. Superb Experience! I started off my engagement ring search by going to the mall stores and a few of those jewelry shops that barrage you with radio ads. I was immediately turned off by the poor quality diamonds I saw, lack of certification, the pressure of their sales people, and the lengths they would go to to close a sale. Luckily I wised up, did some more research and found Top Rate Diamonds after researching on Kudzu and Google reviews. My experience with Tal at Top Rate has been nothing but superb. He's friendly, informative, personable, and above all, I truly felt he was very trustworthy. The process was great too! Instead of hovering over a display case listening to a sales pitch, we just sat down in Tal's office, went over some diamond options, and looked at different settings. I ended up choosing a stone he had in stock, and a setting that he didn't, but it was no issue, because it was set and ready to go within a couple days. The best part was, I was able to walk away knowing that I got a great quality stone, and a very good deal.
